baby boy Oliver

I just had to post a bunch of Oliver's photos - he is such a cutie!  He and his mom & dad make an awesome family, and I had the most fun photographing and hanging out with them last Saturday.  It was also my christening shoot with my 5D Mark II - so much fun!

Here are some photos from Steve & Renee's vow renewal.  They are my best friend Rachel's parents, and they feel like my second family.  I LOVED photographing little Gabriel - especially when he was wearing his uncle's hat and looking tough :)  It was a wonderful day - thank you guys for having me!

Hey everybody!

Well, I actually have two things to celebrate today.  One is my younger puppy's birthday - Bella is one year old today!  I told her she has to start acting like a grown-up dog now, but I'm thinking that's not going to happen for a while :)  Here she is engaging in her two favorite activities - looking cute, and chewing on her bone.

My other celebration is that I am now the owner of a Canon 5D Mark II.  I've graduated to a very pro, really amazing camera - I can't believe it!  So, of course, I was itching to try it out and documenting Bella's birthday seemed like the perfect occasion for that.  It's weird - it's like Christmas came super early this year.  I never thought I would be this excited about a camera - but I suppose that's because until recently it didn't even occur to me that I could be a photographer.  

Anyway, I'm enjoying my celebrations today.  More shots to come soon!

Cib's Baptism

I recently had the great pleasure of photographing the baptism of our good friends' son, Cib.  I have taken photographs for their family several times, and every time is such a great experience!  They have the most loving, expressive family - they make capturing genuine moments so easy.

This was also the first time I got to meet much of their extended family, including Amber's parents.  Amber's mom, Renee, had a life-changing accident last year, but she and her husband Rusty are so happy and in love that I kept forgetting how many challenges they have faced in the past year.  So, I couldn't help posting one of many sweet photos of them together!

Kamdyn is 1 month old!

This is my first time meeting Kamdyn Corwin - she is so tiny and precious.  I took her mommy's maternity photos back in December, and I am so excited to be photographing their beautiful growing family!
