Karen & her family

I wanted to post a few photos from a really fun and interesting family shoot I had back in July. Karen was in from New York for her father's birthday and she wanted me to catch some fun moments of her celebrating with her dad & stepmom! We also went down to White Rock Lake and photographed Karen and her sister - such a pretty setting.

It was so great to meet Karen and her close, fun family - we had a wonderful afternoon of hanging out, cooking, and playing down by the lake!

little ensley

I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little girl, and her mommy and daddy, back in July. Ensley is one of the funniest, most expressive babies I've ever worked with. It was so hot, even at 8:30 in the morning, but you wouldn't know it because Ensley just played and laughed and was absolutely cute almost the entire time. We had so much fun!

Thank you to this awesome family for a great shoot, despite the heat!

trisha & russell's wedding

I'm still playing catch-up, but I wanted to post some photos of the first wedding I shot this summer (even though it was back in June! Time flies so fast).

Russell is the brother of Amber, who has been featured on this blog many times with her husband, Austin, and her son Cib (who is now over a year old)! It was awesome for me to get to hang out with their family and be there for all of the beautiful, emotional moments of the day.

I found one of the flower girls playing with my phone - it was so hilariously cute that I had to get the look on her face before gently putting my purse out of reach...

Trisha looked absolutely beautiful - and she really surprised me when she told me the only make-up she was wearing was eyeliner! She is just a naturally gorgeous woman, and she made a radiant bride!

Russell's mother, Renee, and Amber made this gorgeous chocolate cake above. I was so impressed - and it was so tasty!

I had to include a pic of Amber & Austin - they were so great on the dance floor! And so was Cibbers (below), who was great at looking cute from every angle...

After the wedding, I had the pleasure of going back to the groom's parents' house, which is on this gorgeous piece of land in East Texas. We had so much fun doing some candid, playful shots of the bride and groom!

It was truly a pleasure to shoot Trisha & Russell's wedding - I can't wait for the next special occasion with this wonderful family!

familiar faces

Once again, I've waited so long to post that I have several shoots to share! This time, I photographed families of kiddos that I have gotten to take pictures of since they were small. It is such an awesome thing to see how much these families have grown - and it's always wonderful to see old friends.

Above are Kamdyn's 6 month photos - she has gotten so tall since the last time I saw her! She has a cute and quirky personality that definitely shows in her photos! Below is Jude - the son of some close family friends. I got to do his 1 year photos last year around this time, and this time around he was as fun and cute as ever!

Thanks to both of these families for giving me the chance to be part of their lives and photograph their growing children.

More soon!
