Lacey & the boys

I was lucky enough to do two shoots with Lacey and her boys last month!  The photos above were from our first shoot.  We hung out, took a walk, read books, and had a great time - the boys are so much fun to photograph!

After the boys got haircuts, Lacey wanted to do another shoot since the boys looked so different.  This time, we got to go to the Shops at Legacy lake area - what a pretty location!  The boys ran around, climbed trees, and gave me lots of photo opportunities.  

Cancun!!!

Hey ladies & gents!

As promised, I am posting some photos from my family's vacation to Cancun right before Christmas.  My husband and I even have a photo together - something that rarely happens as I'm always behind the camera :)  And I got one of my parents on their daily walk on the beach - which was earlier than I normally like to get up, but I'm glad I got the shot.

We had a fantastic time - all the sun, drinks, food, and family we could ask for.  And I only took 400 photos of the ocean.  Living in a landlocked location really makes you appreciate the ocean when you finally get to see it!

Happy 85th, Grandmother!

These are some photos from my Grandmother's 85th birthday party back in mid-December. We had family, food, fun, and to top it off, it was all held in a castle! This castle is a testament to French castles from long ago, even though it is found in rural Louisiana! It was such an honor to be the photographer, and I can't say that I've ever shot at such an unusual location.

It was a wonderful experience, and I know that my grandmother had a truly special time (can't you tell by the photos? She was always smiling...) Happy Birthday, Grandmother!
