Now that my portfolio is growing, I've got some cool new photos on my website. I updated my home slideshow and my wedding gallery to display my most recent photography adventures :)

just married

Here are some photos from my sister's beautiful wedding on July 5th. It was a perfect day - everything was so gorgeous and we all had a wonderful time. Again, Leslie (of Goodlight Photography) was our pro and she did an amazing

 job of capturing all the fun! She was kind enough to let me shoot with her when I wasn't fulfilling maid-of-honor duties. All in all, it was an unforgettable day!

I couldn't get away with not posting some photos of my husband, who looked so handsome in his one and only suit.

I had to make at least one post about my puppies! We've had Snippet for 3 years (see top photo - he's such a ham), and he is now the big brother to our new puppy, Bella (2nd photo). I have loved shooting photos of Snippet, and now I get to catch them together - although, as you can see, they don't always love each other's company. But they are a lot of fun!

Shots from the most recent bridal portraits I've taken - Rachel, my best friend and a patient model! She looks absolutely gorgeous, and was a good sport even though I made her dress up twice and sweat in the Texas heat (just not enough light the first time).

I can't wait to see her on her big day!

That title didn't sound as clever as I thought it would.

Here are a few photos from my sister's bridal shower in Houston.  So far, all I have posted are photos of events for my sister, but hey, it's all about the bride before the wedding, right?  

The top photo is Sunita cutting her delicious cake, the middle is one of my mom and her good friend Charlett, and finally, the wine bucket (pretty & fun)!  I swear I will branch out someday and post photos of people who aren't related to me, but probably not until after my sister's wedding :)

Here are some photos from my sister's bridal shoot!  I was lucky enough to tag along with her wedding photographer, Leslie from Goodlight Photography, and I got some great shots. Leslie's a total pro, so I learned a lot and we all had a great time!

I have now joined the wonderful world of blogging. I hope I will have many interesting experiences and beautiful photos to share. Please continue to stop by - I will do my best to keep it updated.

The only news I have is that my website is finished - after lots of work figuring out Flash (thanks to my husband, Matthew, who is patient enough to learn a whole new & complicated program)!
